A full 360° virtual tour of a five star resort in Shigar Valley, letting guests walk the property from the riverside cafe to the rooms before they book a flight to Skardu.

Himmel Skardu by Luxus is a five star resort on the edge of the Shigar River, four acres of it, ringed by mountains in Gilgit Baltistan. The location is the whole reason people go. It's also the reason booking it takes nerve. Skardu is a long flight or a punishing drive from Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, so nobody is dropping by to look around first. Which puts all the weight on what a guest can see online. And a photo gallery flattens the exact thing that makes the trip worth it, the feeling of standing on a balcony with the valley opening up in front of you. Himmel needed a hotel virtual tour that could put guests inside the property before they booked the flight.
We produced a 360° virtual tour that runs in any browser. Guests move through the resort the way they would on arrival, from the entrance into the public areas, through the restaurant and the riverside cafe, then into the rooms. At every stop they look wherever they want, including straight up at the mountains. No app. No download. No headset. It opens on a phone in a couple of seconds, which is the part that actually matters, because that is where hotel research happens. The tour is built on Xyranto, the virtual tour platform we developed in house, with Three.js and WebGL handling the rendering. Owning the platform changed two things for Himmel. The viewer carries their branding rather than some vendor's watermark, and there is no per tour licence fee quietly renewing every year. We delivered it as a shareable link plus an embed that drops into the hotel site and any booking page.
